Mungler
Not a bad day today - took a day off work and at 6.30 a.m was standing in a hedge waiting for crows and pigeons (they are flocking up nicely now and farmer not happy with crows harassing the pheasants). Had some good sport, but was amazed at the crows - they are massive - one was downed and hit the floor and then two minutes later when our eyes were back in the sky, got up and managed to fly off. Decided to go shopping for some No. 5's 32g - whilst in the shop there was a second hand woody AL391 with case, chokes, shims and all the kit for £450.... so that's a full cabinet now. Mungler
Shot the AL391 at some clays yesterday and today and am very pleased - very easy gun to get on with (I can see why they go down well with older / lady shooters), but it does feel like a pigeon / fun gun not a serious "to business" clay gun. Got an invite to a corporate shooting competition in December organised by a mate's dad - he knows I have shot before but doesn't know the full extent of the addiction. I was planning to leave my guns at home and bandit it Cabinet now full and license full up - need to send it off for a continuation sheet - any idea on how long it will take to come back to me? dunganick
photocopy it and cross your fingers do you not have any room on the reverse? mine has about 20 slots on it, i cant believe even you have filled 20ish up. by photocopying it, should you get pulled over, you will have reasonable proof that you own hte guns, so they shouldnt be able to take your guns away untill you provide your cert. (means your guns wont get smashed up)

Stop messing about - 36g of No 5's work a treat for crows Now that you've got a 391 you won't feel the recoil anyway :o Don
Mungler
Currently got 7 shotties and cabinet full up. What can I say, Essex Gun better send me an Xmas card this year. Incidentally, the AL391 came from Leech & Sons - bargaintastic. Looking forward to some more crow action this week and to give the No. 5's a spin. Oh yes, Nick, good idea about the photocopy.
