Revo semi auto shotgun

I have recently bought a revo semi auto and put around 25, 29 gram no6 game bore velocity cartridges through it, and sometimes it just doesn't fire. When I pull back the bolt it dispenses the used cartridge and then it's ok, the sportsman gun centre advised to put 32 gram cartridges through it (around a 100) and it should be fine. Any ideas, is it because it's new, or do you think I have a problem. Any ideas would really help, thanks in advance..

hmm might be a bit tight, are the carts 65mm67mm or 70mm cases? 70mm cases tend to cycle more reliably some can bed in using a bigger load, not sure on the Revo is it gas semi?

just noticed it is a 70mm case

Velocity HV Pigeon 29 6 Fibre 8/70 1400

.............perhaps give it a clean and try a box of 32g 70mm shells and see how it goes.

Brand New?

Take it apart and clean any grease oil from the magazine tube/slider, DO NOT over grease/oil. (actually check/clean all areas of the action)

May just be a little tight but the symptoms sound like sticking grease/oil!

No harm trying whatever! :good:
