srspower
This is our latest video showing our take on shotgun chokes and tests we carried out. Please don't be too harsh I have probably made the odd mistake but constructive criticism is welcome. We are beginners!
Sx3 clay breaker
good video mate as usual i sub a while ago the only thing i would suggest is make more videos of shooting pigeons instead ofwhen you start and when you finish keep up the good work rgds scott
srspower
Yeah the trouble with that at the moment is there are no pigeons around! The farmer has drilled but we are waiting for the crops to come up. Having said that my Dad tried to ring me this morning because his mate's linseed rape has come up and he's inundated with wood pigeons apparently! So hopefully next weekend we will be back over the decoys and maybe get a good bag. Thanks for watching and subscribing

killer_pigeon
feedback:- when you are explaining about chokes you can't just group them all into 4 groups, there are a few more then 4 especially in the clay world and they all have a purpose in life. ie Super Full Extra full Ful Light Full Improved Modified Modified Light modified improved cylinder skeet cylinder pellet spread - your explanation implies all pellets are travelling the same speed in a flat round pattern which they are not, they are in a 3d elongated slug pattern extended chokes - can be ported to help with pellet spread pattern as well as muzzle flip, they are not just for easy hand changing choke tightening - its more important to remove choke when cleaning gun and clean it, as well as barrel to remove rust carbon etc to stop choke getting stuck in there permanently. Also for filming purposes you are better to shoot the shot onto a white strip of wallpaper for the audience benefit and it can be seen on camera better. srspower
Thanks for the comments! I thought there were other chokes but I was trying to show what most people will get/use with your average off the shelf gun. And yeah I know the pattern isn't going to be a circle I guess I should of been more clear, unscripted unfortunately! So I should take the chokes out when I clean my barrels? Then clean them individually? I have generally just left them in so that's good to know! And yeah I know the targets weren't perfect but you wouldn't believe how tricky it was getting large pieces of white card for a small amount of money, hence the cardboard I got from work with A4 sheets stuck to it! But good feedback and very helpful
craig hill
I always leave them in when cleaning the bores, afterwards just take them out, clean the threads and give a light coat of oil and pop back in
TIGHTCHOKE
Please write a script after doing some research. You got confused on the names for various chokes, MODIFIED is HALF, IMPROVED MODIFIED is 3/4. Please try to refrain from constantly saying "you know". Buy a wind cover for your microphone. Hamster
This is our latest video showing our take on shotgun chokes and tests we carried out. Please don't be too harsh I have probably made the odd mistake but constructive criticism is welcome. We are beginners! This is a good basic intro about chokes but it would have been vastly better had you chosen a material where pellet strikes could have been more easily seen, as it was the viewer is in the main taking your word and description about the relative spreads.
