Anschutz .22hornet, any good?

Hi

Been searching for a cz527 American in .22hornet with not much luck, I've come across a secondhand anschutz for £600 with scope apparently it's not done many rounds. It's the top end of my budget so wondered if it was worth it or should I keep looking for a cz.

I know normally anschutz are extremely accurate and high quality guns but I've no experience with them in hornet form and have only ever read positives about cz's.

Any opinions welcome but am keen to hear from actual users if possible.

Grab it, taking the owner's hand off to the shoulder if necessary. They're no longer made. They were out of production when I wanted to go Hornet which was annoying as I lived with my mate with his wiping me out every time we had a practice/check zero session. I've shot his and it's everything you'd expect from Anschutz. Check it out though, as unless it's a private sale or an old rifle, for what you're potentially getting the word bargain just doesn't cover it.

It's from a shop and about 80+ miles away so until I see it I won't know exactly what condition it's in, looks tidy in the picture but they can hide all manner of stuff, says its not seen much work though. It's got a nice looking Monte Carlo stock on it too. I'm waiting to hear if its screw cut so will ask more questions on condition when they reply.

Sounds promising though if its in good condition, paperwork should be back any day now, hoping its gonna turn up tomorrow then I get the wife to take me Sunday.

22 hornets are thin on the ground. may be worth taking a drive to look it over.

There's a few lux's about but I want an American if I get a cz, keep hoping to find a nice setup with mod and everything. Got £500-600 maybe stretch a little but would need to be special.
