I understand the Wildcat Whisper is suitable for Hornet, even thought that too is a rimfire mod, check with Uk Custom shop first!

Alycidon
I have what I am sure is a rimfire mod on my 17 Ackley Hornet, and its proofed. Talk to Jackson Rifles. In the Birmingham Proof house there is a mod with a plastic baffle stack that someone has used on a 220 Swift. ( Might have sent it for proof attached to the swift) One round blew it to bits. But may not of passed the proofing laws we currently have In place

A WMR can kick out maybe 320-340ft lb, a Hornet can produce more than double that easily. The SAK is aluminium and doesn't look up to that to me, and if Jackson Rifles said WMR I'd stop there, it may last a while on a Hornet but I wouldn't want to be anywhere near you if it decided to let go! You are correct, I use one on my Hornet. It's had around 300 through it now and the inside still looks like new with no sign of wear at all. Would I buy it again, yes !!
