The SAK is a Rimfire mod, talk to Jackson rifles if you have any intention of putting it on a Hornet, I doubt it is up to the job.

I understand the Wildcat Whisper is suitable for Hornet, even thought that too is a rimfire mod, check with Uk Custom shop first!

I have what I am sure is a rimfire mod on my 17 Ackley Hornet, and its proofed. Talk to Jackson Rifles.

In the Birmingham Proof house there is a mod with a plastic baffle stack that someone has used on a 220 Swift. ( Might have sent it for proof attached to the swift) One round blew it to bits.

From what I have read it was originally produced for the hornet aswell as seen in some early paperwork that came with.

But may not of passed the proofing laws we currently have In place :/

about month ago they said it is only up to wmr. but some time ago i did find in internet older advert saying it is up to .22 hornet

i will try to find link to that web.

A WMR can kick out maybe 320-340ft lb, a Hornet can produce more than double that easily.

The SAK is aluminium and doesn't look up to that to me, and if Jackson Rifles said WMR I'd stop there, it may last a while on a Hornet but I wouldn't want to be anywhere near you if it decided to let go!

About £125.

I could be getting mixed up but I think it's CharlieT on here who uses one on his Hornet, you could ask him how it performs!

You are correct, I use one on my Hornet. It's had around 300 through it now and the inside still looks like new with no sign of wear at all.

Would I buy it again, yes !!
