I know the feeling of withdrawal symptoms , sold my bike a week ago - nothing so elaborate as yours - only a 250 KLR , but still miss it like mad.

Well to be honest my ..... grand children did not like the idea of me riding a bike at my age !!

Nice bike yours. Enjoy it , drive carefully.

Without wishing to hijack or detract from the O.P.; Houlsby, if that is your mate, doing 185mph on a public road that my relatives, or anyone else for that matter might be driving on, walking across, pushing a pram over the road etc, etc, then I sincerely hope he is caught very soon. And that his bike is confiscated and crushed, and he is gaoled and disqualified for a very long time. Maniac! If he holds a SGC or FAC then that should be taken from him as well, as he is clearly totally irresponsible. There are track days for that type of thing, public roads are for the public to use in as safe a manner as possible. 185 mph is in excess of 264 feet per second! How could he possibly hope to cope with an unexpected incident? We all want to get home at night, we don't need the likes of him sabotaging that ambition. It's not big, and it's not clever, and you should not be glorifying it with your 'semi-humorous' remark at the end!!! Why even post the picture?

You should have made one of those back tyres a lighter one, might have got some air off the leap

Maybe by a couple of mph, not by more than 3 times! No one else using the road could possibly comprehend the speed of approach at 185mph...

  • 3 weeks later...

Sorry for the late reply..

I posted the pic, because I can.. Simples.. When I want your permission ill ask.. Thanks

Yes he's one crackers little guy with a massive death wish. We used to go out in a massive group but everyone's slowly selling up due to kids and stuff. He's one of about 4 I think now. There was about 20. I remember him almost wiping 10 of us in a line out going out of snaith to park lodge. Came flying past a long line of cars doing over 150 (we were all doing about 40 lol)

Miss lamb.. I know you've just got yourself a rice rocket, go steady.
