pin
Get one that fits you, and you feel comfortable with. Try as many as you can and go with the one you like. 1000 isn't a shoestring budget for a gun, you could get a reasonable new beretta 686 white onyx for that, or a better gun second hand. njc110381
I just bought a new multi choke Beretta Silver pigeon for £1040, and the Onyx is slightly cheaper but pretty much the same gun. Both are very good for the money, and should last you a lifetime if looked after. Try a few makes before you buy, just because these guns fit us, doesn't mean they are guaranteed to suit you. If you can, get down to the local clay club and see if you can use some of the other members guns. Most shooters are very helpful and will be happy to point you in the right direction

suggs
got this for a grand new, multi choke Silver pigeon. if you can afford to spend a £1000 then you wont go wrong with one of these, you need to try as many guns as you can, some will fit others wont. buy the best you can afford in my opinion, then you will want to keep it for many yrs.. H and this was my bettinsolli silverline, cost £425 used.

Hi Jay, I see your looking towards the lanber, probabaly because you can buy new. just to say if your new to the sport, don't be afraid to buy secondhand. Most people buy SH becuase generally guns need to be well kept. With a £1000 budget theres quite abit out there for you have a good look around..
