Rogc
Having shot with an over under for 3 years my scores were lets say very average, changed to a semi auto and after a few weeks am constantly getting better scores. My assumption that ive got used to having a single choke 3/4 rather than 1/2 , 3/4. So what do you prefer Over Under or Semi Auto

The fit is probably the main difference and that is in dependant of the action type. Prefer an OU myself.....

Tim Kelly
I've been using a silver pigeon for clays and thought I'd have a round with my Maxus for a change. Wow, the trigger pulls on the auto are so much heavier and less crisp, made a real noticeable difference and I found myself tracking the clay much more while trying to pull the trigger! Believe me, I'm not a hardcore clay shooter and only go maybe once a month to keep my eye in. I was surprised how different it felt. Still happy to use the semi for pigeons, ducks geese etc, but for clay shooting I don't think I'll be taking it too many times in the future! Sir_Adam
I have a 525 spotter which I used to use for clays. Now having shot the semi at them I feel it's much better. It flows and moves much much faster just get funny looks when using it
