Well here we go.

I knew that Saturday was gonna be a nice day and with the Missus on call with work I thought I shall pay Terry a visit which we arrranged a few days earlier.

I arrived at Terry's at 6:30am and after a good full English breakfast down the local Cafe and a crack with a few of Terry's mates we headed off to a local shooting permission with my HMR and Terry's "Awesome" 40ft/lbs FAC Air Ranger!

As soon as we got out of the car we saw a couple of Rabbits enjoying the morning Sun.A few minutes later we had a few Rabbits in the bag after hitting them with Air Ranger.A Grey Squirrel soon was in the bag a short time after the Rabbits.

Early afternoon I wanted to check the zero of my HMR and after say about half an hour noticed a young Crow dropping to the ground and starting looking for food on the floor.Terry said "can you Range him for me with your Rangefinder"?I told him it was 138yards.He said right I'm gonna have a shot. With a safe backstop behind, the crack of Terry's Savage HMR sounded and the Crow was dispatched cleanly-excellent shot fairplay IMO.

I also took a Rabbit at 112yards with my CZ455 Thumbhole Varmint HMR after sorting the zero out.

We headed home for an early tea and after that Terry told me he was off for his regular afternoon kip!!lol

As soon as it was getting dark we were off out for some more Rabbits and hopefully see a Fox.

It was a memorable day for me.I love staying up with Terry and his wife Chris.

Many thanks again bud.Looking forward to our next venture out.

Great day out lads & good shooting, this type of day tends to stay with you for a long time as you reflect on every shot you took.

I Fancy a day on them this week, we hammered them a couple of weeks ago and sure we must have left some.

Will be out with 17HMR & Air rifles as above.....great days out & thanks for the motivation lads
