Got the nod to visit a landowner and chat about a possible permission. I have shot on a friends permission so have good shooting experience but wanted some ideas on relevant questions to put to the landowner.

I have a fair list already but dont want to miss any items out.

Thanks in advance for any help

I'd check where the paths are and make sure it's his field you are pointing your rifle into !

Good luck

Also ask if anyone else is due to be on there when you are so it's safe for you too ...

I see by your sig you don't appear to own rifles at present, but it might be worth asking if anybody else has permission to shoot rifles there and if so what calibre the land is cleared to.

When I started shooting shotguns I didn't think I'd get into rifles.....oh silly me... ;)

Similar here, I start with a print from google, or take the ipad, so I can find exactly where the boundaries are..

the i ask if they have any species they particularly want taken care of..

then the "what where and when.."

some like rabbits, some don't, some want the foxes shot others don't... others say shoot what you like as long as not my song birds.

then "how do I tell you im shooting?" with some a call or text, others just say park over there if I see you car I know you are here.
