lap9387
I got to the field for 8am, set up and was ready to start shooting by 25 past. After talking to some of the lads on here I set out a horse shoe using my bouncing decoys I made and stuck two crows 15 feet from the open ends of my pattern.. 20 minutes in my first crow was floating round near my left hand side, pop with the hushpower and it went down, I brought a crow decoy in and replaced it with this. Nothing until twenty past 9 and I waste three carts getting up too early and spooking the crow. Another two came in, got the first with my first cart and missed the second with two others. A pigeon landed as I was reloading and by the time I was up it was off.. Another crow came over the top and that went with my third shot, again that got swapped for a decoy.. I was getting pretty confident with my hushpower and by this point I was shooting long range crows from my chair... Everything died down by 10: 45, then my chance for a pigeon, two glided in, but landed outside at the back of my pattern, I tried them but missed.. I remember reading they won't mix with crows, so I placed my shot crows at the back of my pattern to see if it would help.. Ten minutes later, two more glide in, right into the middle, I get up, bloody saftey on!!!! As I start to get hungry and wet from the drizzle, a pigeon glides in, im up just before it lands, pop! And I shot my first pigeon. .. Day ended 10 crows (a few went over the hedge) and a pigeon! .... Im hooked!!! Thanks for all the help and advice on here and a special thank you to "rabbiter" who took my out last week and gave me an idea of how to go on properly. . http://instagram.com/p/aBCOIMrV2f/ Edited June 1, 2013 by lap9387

ATB Paul. This is a 20g mate... Its good up to 45 yards and after the silencer runs inits silent... The shooter hears a "pop" because its next to his head... anyone 5m away will hear a click. . Anyone 10m away will hear nothing. .. It has no recoil and great stopping power with game bore subsonics @ £6 a box

eccles
Well done bud you may need to double up on the netting if you going to shoot more crows,ok for jackdaws but carrion and rooks better eyes. I always use 2 a plastic inside stealth one outside. Find i loads better for crows. ATVB Terry
