njc110381
A bit of a strange one, but I'm after a BB gun that fires plastic BB's. It's a long time since I had one so I'm well out of touch. I'd like a Glock or Sig copy with plenty of poke and as accurate as can be expected. Any recommendations? I'm not a member of a skirmishing club but if needed I can get someone to buy it for me. I don't want it to be bright red unless I haven't got a choice!
TbirdX
KWA/KSC Ptp pistols get good reviews, as does anything Tokyo Marui usually. I assume you mean gas operated.
Cannon
The TM would be considered by many as the best airsoft Glock 17. It is made entirely of plastic though and does feel a bit light. It makes up for it in reliability, looks and the ability to completely customise and fine tune it. Next in line as mentioned above would be KWA/KSC Professional Training Pistols. These feel more weighty and in my opinion offer better value for money over the TM in terms of out of the box performance. So the TM will react better to tuning/customisation, but the KWA PTP would be my first choice if going for a well rounded airsoft pistol. Scully
Have bought various over the years for my son.Have a KWC which is a very good replica of the Walther P99;a bit light and plastic but very good. Also an Elite II Beretta which is another excellent copy;heavy and a faithful copy, but the best is a S&W Combat Master I ratched out in a RFD's which is the best copy I've seen, from Battle Orders.Obsolete now as I can't get gas for it. njc110381
I'm thinking that ideally I'd like a spring gun. It's going to spend most of it's life in a drawer so I figure it's less seals etc to go wrong and I don't ever need to worry about having a stock of gas. So far the KWC looks to have the best fps rating of the ones I've seen, but I can't find a black one!
garden gun
No 2 son was into Airsoft and graduated to electric guns and rifles. To buy you have to prove membership of an Airsoft club. They were almost banned in the last firearms law adjustment. Not sure, but legally I think that even ownership requires membership after that act. TbirdX
You don't need to be a member of anything to own them. What you require is a 'defence' in law under the VCRA, or in simple terms, some valid reason to own the things. Most retailers won't sell you a RIF unless you can prove Ukara or airsoft club membership.
njc110381
I've got the airsoft club thing covered, all I need is a source. It's a bit bloody daft that my FAC isn't enough to show that I'm sensible enough not to try to hold up a bank with it because it looks real? I just want it to shoot targets with and not to look like something I bought at Toys R Us. Having to paint them a bright colour is just an insult to the majority of the British public who are quite capable of not getting the armed response called out on a regular basis! xxx.Morph.xxx
Have a look at http://www.umarexboysclub.co.uk theres a wealth of knowledge on BB,pellet & airsoft guns in the forum. Including buying from Europe & having them delivered to your door (face to face sale only applies to new airguns bought in the UK)
