kennett
Evening, the missus is treating me to a weekend away, without dogs or pheasants etc! We are looking at hotels around the areas above, a bit of a wide area but any suggestions appreciated! Thanks
Spoonbed
Depends on your budget, but nice high end hotels inc Calcott manor( on the outskirts of tetbury, handily placed for the three towns you mentioned). Cheers Paul
Dirty Harry
http://www.barnsleyhouse.com/ or http://www.biburycourt.com/ or if you don't want to spend as much http://www.cotswoldwaterparkhotel.co.uk/ The last one is more modern but I've stayed there a few times and its good. Nice restaurant next door.

SakoQuad
Wild Garlic is a restaurant with rooms in Nailsworth, near Stroud. Food always good and interesting rooms said to be very nice and the breakfast gets rave reviews too. The Dial House at Bourton on the Water also provided an excellent meal and a comfortable room when we stayed there on a "Travel Zoo" deal. Hope you have a good time wherever you go
