Lord Geordie
Well my Electrical probs have now all been sorted. Got the car back today when i asked how much i got a very NICE suprise. £150 I was WELL chuffed All my lights now work my wipers are working again they did EVERYTHING even tidied the wiring up for me Head lights Tail lights Fog light Wiper motor sorted the dash (voltage switch) took about 15 feet of pointless wire out All for £150 Tomorrow i have the dash to re fit the clocks to wire in and a few switches to replace (rear fog and washer bottle) the carpets to cut and fit so a nice busy day. The front bearings need changed too i shall do that in a week or two when i get the money together. Other than that it goes rather well Sorted a Radio for it too i got it free it wouldn't search the bands it was a cracked curcuit board i repaired it and it works very well so that will go in next week when i get some speakers. It's all comming together LG
NorfolkBoy
Nice one LG...... This talk of kit cars reminds me of my misspent youth with a Dutton Phaeton sprint/race car....1300 X-flow, 0-60 in about 4 seconds if the electrics allowed......or the fuel pump/lines didn't misbehave .... I really wanted a Caterham or Westfield but my impoverished teenage budget wouldn't allow it.... PX'd for a 2CV...a proper car.....
Hunter
I will be buying a buggy for road use soon 650cc. Cheaper then a car, and the closest thing to a bike for someone like me who knows 2 wheels on roads where there are blind car drivers isnt worth it.
