sandersj89
Nice day out again, worried it was going to rain but it cleared at about 5.30am. Still no wind to help the birds along but a good day was had still. It was very wet under foot though, the field bottoms where standing with water so we were a little worried about the birds but they flew well enough on the drives where we found them. So, few pictures (It is not easy shooting and also working a camera so not many pictures this time) Graham, waiting for the 3rd drive to start: Nice Roe, one of 5 seen on the day: And my lad Benjamin, on the left, took along a mate from school who had never been beating or shooting before, but now wants to come again as he has such a good time. The picture on his mums face when I got him home covered in mud and then handed her a pheasant.... I have brought it home as he is coming around tomorrow to pluck and draw it and they are going to have it for dinner next week. Another convert I hope! sandersj89
Thanks guys. I am very happy he enjoys himself out with me, he has been spoilt with the weather so far, always dry and sunny most of the time. Might have been a different story if the weather was like today here in Sussex. Talk about a rough night!!!! Jerry
