Not quite sure about 'It's as deadly as a real gun', it may have power above an air rifle, but I suspect its plastic barrel may somewhat compromise accuracy and most of those shots were very close range. Don't shoot clays mind you. And not being asked to produce when is a failure on there part? Or are there different rules for clubs? That thing is frighteningly simple to make only a single shot but with a bit if thought it would not be to hard to make a double barreled one. But why do people have to use good stuff as targets he could of used some really cheep beer or cola and waisting good spam like that is not on. My local ground now know me and rarely ask, but occasionally do just to keep me on my toes. All other grounds I've bought at have asked every time as do my local gunshops.
