missmoreandmaster
Hi guys just got to tell you of my day, as some of you will know I bought myself a semi auto after heart opp.and that I have been on the clays and practising with different chokes The farmer had cut all the margins early this week and some of last years wheat at the edge of the old cover areas by a 4 week old muck heap, which was being hit well every time i drove over the field. I had shot this area sunday am, yesterday pm and again this morrning. it was very quiet , having setup by 5.30 and shot 4 birds by 11 i was thinking of either moving or packing up(dam it was hot out there) Then up the field decoying well but on the wrong side of the muck heap came three pigeons the middle lead bird came in towards the hide and dropped with the first shot, the next one on the right blindly folled its mate and met cart. no. 2 , the third started to rise over and in front of my hide I swung through (totaly text book) and down he came , my first ever three from three left , right , left. I just wish that I could shoot like that all the time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Boy was I one happy bunny. Regards Martin.

Salop Matt
I would of been grinning like a fool after that. Back in feburay roost shooting i had a big flock come in and the first birds settled in the tree before the last had started there final approach......... I thought i would wait to shoot one of the last in and then go to what has to get air born again in the hope of taking 3 birds with 3 shots....... My first two connected and bagged my birds but in the excitement and anticipation of the third i fluffed it and missed what was an easy shot :( I was gutted. Anyway nice shooting and keep up the good work

motty
Getting 3 for 3 isn't that difficult. It's getting the pigeons to come to the decoys in the right way that can be the difficult bit. Luckily i've enjoyed some cracking days since i bought my semi a few years ago and have managed the feat plenty of times. My goal for this season is to get a triple at pinkfeet.....
