paul65
you only play the selective game with facts as and when it suits, and usually in a put down fashion to give you the apparent upper hand (albeit to me a very transparent hand). KW I'm sorry but for some reason the mention of porn and a 'very transparent hand' has had me sniggering for the last 10 minutes.
Vince Green
Porn is actually incredibly boring and repetitive, the shock factor wears off really quickly. 99% of people lose interest at that point. You are not going to deter the remaining 1% by banning it. Child porn is already illegal and they should already be blocking the sites (why aren't they?) Kids are not allowed to buy booze until they are 18 yet every 16 year old knows how to get booze. Proof if you need it that bans don't work. Keep it in the open and monitor the bad sites. I understand where kiddie porn is concerned they only go after the worst few percent of offenders in any case. So that's something they could work on now, but that doesn't make sound bites on the 6 oclock news.............. . pimpkiller
If im not mistaken i saw a small mention on the local news that this announcement comes after the fact cam has shut the unit that investigates internet kiddie porn, can you believe that? sounds like its simply another cut and the kiddies will be just a little bit more unsafe. Or I might be wrong.
