'Chance' what is it 47,000,000 to 1 against - that's some slim chance...

Even with the millions and millions of tickets sold each week there are still rollovers as no one wins 'need I go on'

I have nothing against it, but I pity the people pinning all their hopes and dreams on those odds

:) one chance is all it takes........ no comment about the other bit of my post ? (btw this was only a semi serious comment)

I still think they should reduce the number of correct numbers required, so up the odds but reduce the overall prize money accordingly.

An awful lot of people who play these numbers couldn't even handle the amount of money they dream about wining - buts that's another story

It would be fun wasting it though !

I think most people could handle it quite fine. While more prizes sounds like a nice idea, I suspect many would not bother unless the main prize was big enough that you could live very very comfortably without ever having to work again.

That's what most people think the reality can be more like this, and there are plenty of other stories the same if you look them up:

Thanks for your concern Dunkield but rest assured I am not going to win because my luck is not that good ! .

As I do mine online, I just received my letter also.

I will not be renewing my direct debit, as they are doubling the cost but not doubling the total payout.

More will be taken as profits, so I am out.

Camelot's profit is < 1% - and is capped. 12% of the price of a ticket is tax (one of the reasons why the final prize is tax free).
