adamskiseal
I have been offered a Browning B-80 for £220 I know this is an old gun but looks nice and straight, I was going to use it to do a bit of pigeon shooting with, thought I would get your thoughts on it, cheers Adam
Salop Matt
There a brilliant gun, My farther has had his for years and its never missed a beat. Some of the parts are stamped PB berretta as it was such a good desing both Browning and Berretta bought into it ! I would grap that straight away ! Are there any chokes with it ? If you dont have it and its for sale let me know as i may treat myself ! Cant recomend them enough, it would last for years to come as they are built so well ! TDS
The Browning B80 is a Beretta 302 semi-auto made under license from aforementioned Bertta... The main difference is the hump at the back of the receiver to "Browningise" it , and the use of invector chokes instead of mobilchokes All Beretta A300(not A300 Outlander) series parts interchange including barrels The only unique part to Browning is the forend wood , so make sure this is in good shape as spares are rare... BrowningDJC
I had one of these in 20 bore for one of my first guns, was a lovely little gun, from what i remember the only thing it lacks compared to other browning autos was speed laoding. Joshua1993
I've had a B80 and all I can say Its not the best looking gun (in my opinion) but I never had an issue, it was very reliable and £220 seems more than reasonable! al4x
I've got one as well, it's done a huge amount of work and been faultless, jammed once when shooting off the combine but it had a bucket load of chaff inside it. Your options at that price are this or one of those hatstand pieces of junk and this will still be going in 20 years time
