Royboy
Hi I was out on the pigeons yesterday and my guns started miss firing. It fires the first barrel but not the second ? If I was to select the second barrel first it will fire both barrels like normal ! Any ideas before I take to gun shop ? Cheers

Churchill
take off the action and clean it and lightly lubricate it, if its as dry as a bone in there that could cause it. It happened to mine.

Royboy
I've been reading up on taking of the action . Is there two Philips screws holding the recoil pad on then a Alan key holding stock ? Cheers for fast replys guys
Churchill
OK mate first off, press the small release pin in the action to centre the unlocking lever or it could scratch the wood when you remove the action. Use a philips to get the recoil pad off but put a bit of grease / oil on it so you don't damage the rubber recoil pad ( if thats what you have fitted ) then take a look inside to see what's holding it together, mine is a mahusive flat head screwdriver type bolt. welshwarrior
Wash up liquid on the rubber pad and age dependent either a 12 mm socket with flat head in it ( used the socket some where thin walled and you can push the screw drive through the side) or a 6 mm Allen key. welshwarrior
No it sounds like an inertia block issue so into a smith I'm afraid
