ayano3
Hi guys, (and girls if any here) I have to change my company car soon and have all the paperwork and websites to renew. At present I have a Ford Mondeo hatchback. I have been looking at quotes and a new Mondeo Titanium x Business Edition is great value, I have opted for the estate version if I go for the Mondeo. The new ECO 163BHP version returns somewhere around 60mpg. I have to foot the fuel costs of travelling to and from work (64 mile round journey) so economy is reasonably important. BUT...I have been looking at the New Ford Kuga. I do a fair bit of green track work, drive on stubbles etc. Drive to the marshes in all conditions. And the drive to work can be dodgy if we have snow. I realise the Kuga is not 4x4 and will not perform the same as, but it does have AWD. I don't need to climb mountains and go 3ft deep in water and mud. The Mondeo goes ok but bottoms quite a bit !! I know I will have to compromise on boot space as the Mondeo has more room that the best room at the Hilton Hotel. So help me choose.....I will check this out when I get home from my holiday....will leave it to you guys..many thanks
Zulu
I think the Kuga will do all you want , over 14000 mls mine returned 37mpg which I was happy with .
sishyplops
Kuga's Gonna sting you on company car tax ( depending on your tax bracket), the new audi A3 tdi is supposed to be bestin class, I've got an A4 s line multitronic but the tax is horrendous , how about the 2 wheel drive SUV 's quashqai kind of thing Edited August 27, 2013 by sishyplops
Dead-Eyed Duck
Yeti? I have had two, and the diesel averages c. 48mpg if not driven too hard.
Fisherman Mike
If your looking at a Kuga...then you've got to go with the Honda 2.2 CRV ....better vehicle in every respect...and I have had both...... And forgot to add 53 MPG on run wasn't uncommon and 44 average the norm Edited August 29, 2013 by Fisherman Mike
westmids1987
Might be too small for your needs but i'm getting a vauxhall mokka next week, good spec sat nav etc (tech line) low company car tax band and on demand 4x4?vauxhall suggest mids 60's mpg but im guessing it'll be mid to high 50's with normal driving, worth a look
