I wondered why my pay as you go credit was going down on my spare phone after lost of hassle found this out Data Roam and mobile data off unless I want it now stops my old I phone 3 wasting my top up charge for no good reason! Its also the chosen phone system for criminals as they're untraceable so do we need to be cautious of Pav? Yes,if you leave your mobile data switched on 24/7 it will cost you money.Many apps have to be routinley updated and this eats into your data allowance. My phone (contract) allows me 500mb per month and if i go over its £5 for every 100mb after. However,i'd have to view an enormous amount of porn to get anywhere near that. LOL But I also use PAYG, Giffgaff and my iphone costs me a tidy 10quid a month ;-) all the calls, txt and data I need for a tenner! Bit better than a lot of folks deals I bet ;-) Oh and since Im only here for 6 months a year that's a whopping £60 a year to run my iPhone ;-) Show me a deal that comes close on a contract??
