I use an old sog seal pup in the shoot bag and a Swiss army knife in the pocket. I know that if I spend loads on a blade I will just lose it.

I have a remington 11-87 and it's never failed me. Love it. I also have a hatsan pump action synthetic for the pigeons. Both guns are keepers will never get rid of either of them . Hatsan cost 180 remmy I swapped for a baikal.

I used to be a butcher many moons ago I was shown a way to put a very good edge on a blade. After stoning and honing I use the top edge of a car window. Half a dozen gentle strokes either side had a blade with a fantastic edge.

I looked at getting on and after driving it I decided to get a chevrolet captiva instead.

I recently bought a captiva auto. It's my first auto and I didn't really want that gearbox but now I have got used to it I'm wondering why I didn't get one years ago. Mpg is about 40 ish on the motorway and about 30 around town. Haven't had chance to get it muddy yet but I will do at some point.

I have finally managed to get perms!!after years and years of trying have managed to get shooting only 3 miles from where I live. I am so over excited I'm like a 6 year old on Christmas Eve. I have bought a decoying kit from A1 and have a slab of carts.so now I just need to get into the fields and see what happens. I would be over the moon with just a single bird. Fingers crossed. RC

I have heard that a clay ground has or was going to open just off the a1 near blyth and was wondering if it open and has anyone been? A link I clicked on mentioned that it was linked to stile hollow relocating. If it is up and running I would like to take a look around. With regards to the fb thread, I don't think it's the mate who has been charged I think it's the op. He says he has both sec 1 and 2 licences and owned up to the charges and has to go onto social media to see if he can keep his tickets. Seems odd to me.

Is that the fb thread where someone's mate has been charged with theft and asked whether he was going to lose his tickets?

It's like my broom. It's had 4 new handles and 5 new heads.

Scald the skin first with boiling water. It will crisp up the skin nicely. Also just salt the skin as sugars will burn. after cooking use a sweetened white wine vinegar soak. Will be fantastic. Good luck
