Harrison93
Hi, im new-ish to shooting and i have one small permission, im only shooting a .22 break barrel, have been mostly doing targets and the odd bunny and pigeon. I was simply wondering if anyone has a shoot that they would be willing for me to join in on, i would be willing to pay a small price and split the bag with landowners. Im from Widnes in the Northwest, but i have a car and am willing to drive. Adam
butchdickason
You should have put this in the Wanted section. Butch
Paul T
Adam Firstly, welcome to Pigeon Watch - put up a post in the welcome section so everyone knows who you are and what sort of shooting you are into. Secondly, it is unlikely that anyone is going to take you out on their hard-earned permission, especially for air rifles, it's just not how it works. It's really difficult to gain shooting experience without anywhere really to shoot and you can't get anywhere to shoot without having any experience to prove you are safe and responsible. It's a real 'chicken and egg' scenario. A lot will tell you that door-knocking is the answer, but with so little experience that is unlikely to prove fruitful either. Personally, I'd forget the widespread request and have a look for someone that's local to you, who shoots air rifles and drop them a long pm explaining you are wanting to get more into shooting and your plans for future shooting. What you need is help on how to gain your own shooting permission, not to muscle in on someone else's. Hope this helps...?

Fisheruk
Hi and welcome Try contacting the local Wildlife Trust and Red Squirrel Survival Trust, the former often have a need for vermin control on their reserves and the latter may have some need for grey control. You are on the edge of Red Squirrel area. ATB
