tabs
Can anyone give me information on any clubs I can attend in my region, I am based between Luton and Bedford. Contact numbers etc would be great. Regards Tabs
pin
Not checked but try www.cpsa.co.uk and www.basc.co.uk They both have sections for finding shooting, the former will have more than the latter for the kind of shooting you want. If you don't find anything up that way I know of a couple of friendly shoots down this way which would probably be ideal for you. Oh, er

Catamong
Try this one, nice & friendly: Flitwick Gun Club 41 Primrose Close Flitwick Bedfordshire MK45 1PL Tel: 01525 713801 Email: CliveCSmith@btinternet.com Opening Hours: Every other weekend Disciplines:English Sporting, FITASC, Skeet, High Tower, ABT & DTL Notes:Skeet – ABT – DTL members price £2.00 per round. Over 60 £1.00 per round. 40 sporting £4.00. Over 60 £2.00 I used to shoot competitions at this club many years ago. You could always try Sporting Targets at Risely, near Bedford, but I think you'll find it's a bit pricey compared to Flitwick. Cat.

Its about 30 miles from you, but they have a good layout and are a friendly bunch. Go to www.sportingtargets.co.uk for more info ZB

dunganick
i shot sporting targets on thursday, lovely ground (im slightly biast in that i know andy the fella who runs it) but its a very large ground with good facilities, trap reliability was not all that in my opinion. And the 50yards visability did make the high tower interesting. I also wasnt keen on their selection of birds, all very unusual, but it was a fairly easy but not too easy ground to shoot. I found the prices to be excelent. We shot 160 birds and had a cup of tea and a mars bar for £36 (which i think works out pretty reasonable)
tabs
You missed a pleasant morning ZB, very enjoyable. Think I may be back next week! I agree Dunga, lots of variety comfortable facilities. We also had a few no birds, but ive nothing to compare the numbers to. Couldnt hit the tower with any consistancy! I will be back for that. Trying a local club tomorrow, need as much practice as I can. Tabs

The tower is great fun, when i was shooting the highest birds were bairly visable, but still very much shootable
