Write a letter asking for the fence to be fixed in a timely manner as your planning on live stock being placed up on your land. if its not fixed within 2 weeks, you fix the fence and then send him the bill.

or you put a fence up on your land, keep it and inch onto your land. then paint his view a real pants colour or even graffiti. he can not touch it as its on your property, he will either get the message or put up with it.

if it were me i would just post and wire with pig fencing and then get on with life.

With a analog cctv system you will not be able to see the face of the person. To cover the size u want you will be looking at a plz camera. Then your looking at £1000 + and £1500 if you want to see in the dark .. Ip would give you a better image but not one camera to cover the size of field. Pm me if you need any info on cctv I would be more than happy to help

Thanks for the suggestions, think that the sentry gun is winning at the moment :)

Tbh I have been thinking of putting CCTV up for a while, never had a need for it, more to fuel my obsession with anything remotely to do with technology. As I posted yesterday, my neighbour has promised to replace the panel but if he doesn't any time soon I will replace it for him.

I had previously considered fencing off the fourth side but put it off as it would look odd and also due to the cost involved. In a stubborn way I don't want to shell out to fence it off because some ***** can't be ***** to control his/her dog. Might be the only way to put an end to it though.

Cheers mate but that is way over what I would like to pay! Are the cheaper cameras really that bad? If you watch back some of the footage of the 700tvl's on youtube they don't look that bad.

Most cameras will give you a good image but can you cant make out the face of the postman in that video.. And that's only at about 20ish ft .. For what you want and the size you wish to cover they won't really so the job .. But for monitoring your house spot on ... Samsung cameras are good iv just added 4 to the hammer smith Apollo and not to expensive.. I'll have a look and a set up for you.. Edited by Scottoj18
