Gnasher
I have a firearms certificate and I'm going to the States soon and thinking about bringing home some magazines for my guns as they are a lot cheaper in USA. Does anyone know where I stand regards the law and customs? Is it legal for me to bring magazines in without an firearms import licence? phaedra1106
Supposed to be a 10 round limit according to ITAR but I've not found anyone who's had a problem bringing magazines back. I've brought loads of 25 rnd mags for my S&W M&P15-22, 17 and 33 round Glock 17 mags and a variety of others back, bags that have been opened for inspection have never had a magazine removed or questioned. There's no import or customs problem in the UK with them just don't go over your £390 duty free personal allowance Edited October 26, 2013 by phaedra1106
