All that rain last meant I just had to be out first light....them fox's would be out late this morning I thought!

Well they was. Soon had a stalk on an got the range down nicely by mingling with some young cattle but when he popped through the hedge and started that quiet bark they can do it had me scratching my head!

I thought there must be two! I had to sneak back down the hedge to a gap of which by now the cattle were watching them just the other side, I could here him whispering sweet nothings in her ear!.....when I got there the dog was twenty yards or so and the vixen 40yds.

Shot 1 dropped the dog, shot 2 just snook over the vixens shoulders at an estimated 120yds (she bolted and I waited knowing she would stop) and shot 3 finished the dog off!

why oh why can't we bow hunt...that would put the crouch back into stalking!!!

Sure would...the whole world accepts it but not here....just because some muppets skewered a swan with a target arrow or something....has it stopped muppets skewering stuff with the wrong arrow....I dought it!
