Davyo
I get approached all the time for what they call dropped rabbits and its a no no from me every time.It is illegal and even if it wasnt i wouldnt supply rabbits as a minority of the dog people who ask have no permissions and use ther dogs on land they have no right to be.Plus they are usually training their dogs for the purpose of coursing hares which i dont agree with. I dont think anyone on here would be daft enough to post that they would supply you. Edited November 7, 2013 by Davyo

scotslad
It is not illegal to release rabbits wether in for a pen or not. Back in the 50's and before the ministry could come onto ur land and control them and bill u for there work if u were not controlling them, that law probably still exists but will never be used nowadays. Can just imagine the uproar if they went onto some bunny huggers land and shot all her rabbits and then sent her a bill for there time Was a similar law for Ragwort old MAFF had power to come onto ur land to pick it. Bleeh
It is not illegal to release rabbits wether in for a pen or not. Yes it is. It would be so easy to argue cruelty against the rabbit in the case it's stupid.
