Started netting the first warren at 8:30 am, a 38 holer :o .

Enterd my good hob and jill in and the action started after about 10 mins, got 4, then my mates mobile rang and what with him talking :D and walking all over it, i decided to move on. :/

We came to a 3 holer, in went my hob and after 20 mins, no action, on with locator, got a signal, pushed in probe, broke threw with that, the ferret came out and we moved, so no need to dig.

Had steady bolts here and their and ended up with 9, fininshed at 1:30 pm. :D

Nice start to 07, the first bunnys of the New year. :o

Well done Frank,

Do you not dig if you get a lay up. I always do as my Ferrets would have made a kill, which i like to get the Bunny and many times have found it to be in a Stop-end with live Rabbits trapped in behind. I've pulled out 5 Rabbits from a Stop-end :o , if i had just moved the Ferret on with my probe and it come out i would have missed all 5 :o

SO ALWAYS DIG IF THE FERRET HAS STOPPED MOVING :D, unless too deep or under bushes/in roots

PELTMAN :/

Yes pelt man, i do dig, from time to time. I have found that if i dig after the ferret has moved, i have also found the rsbbits have moved aswell. :good::P

I know what you mean though and have also in the past found several bunnys bunched up, with the ferret scratching behind them. :P

Thanks all folks.

I am seriously jealous of the ammount of days you get out ferreting! Nice bag. I've got a few more days planned and am ferreting the rugby club again next weekend having found some more buries and me and youngshot are going ferreting again on his permission but this time shooting the bolters rather than trying to net 100m of holes in thick brambles. :good:

Good pics as always Frank! :good:
