Night Vision For Rifles

I'm hoping to get a .22-250 this weekend that comes with a Schmidt and Bender Scope.

( The rifle is here: http://www.kentwoolgrowers.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=61_102_114&product_id=1254 )

I was also hoping to purchase a night vision attachment to be used with it.

Has anyone used either of these before?

I only really want to spend around the £200 mark to see how i get on with it.

Any advice/reviews on the night vision gear or the rifle itself much appreciated.

I have shot rifles accompanied for about 10 years now but have only just got my own firearms.

They are not NV. They are lamps.

NV allows you to see in the dark.

Lamps make the dark light so you can see.

Good luck with the new rifle. I haven't used either of the mentioned lamps but the second looks half reasonable.

Better to go to one of the well known makes - what does your mate use?

I have just read the spec of the ruger you are intending on buying at the minute ,it is not screw thread to accomodate a moderator that is extra ££££

also the scope S&B 6X42 is well underated for the distance you will be shooting at.and you will be needing to buy another scope at more expense

if I were you I would take some advice from an experienced member from this site or somebody local to you.

Advice is FREE

mistakes COST £££

just a thought
