Maddaftspaniel
In my opinion nothing beats Black Gold for performance and low recoil
Sean Richo
Was on a driven day today used the proper cartridges again and had some really high birds can't recommend them enough for the price. Can't see paying the extra twenty quid is worth it for the black gold well for me anyway.

Hamster
Who spends £300k on a shell manufacturing plant and then skips on £80 worth of proof testing ? Sorry but I just can't see how he'd be allowed to commercially market them without proof approval.
Paladin
I think that the CIP mark is only required in the other 14 member states that subscribe to that standard so that they can be sold outside the UK. I know that where I worked that a production run proof was taken at least every hour and on every machine, all recorded and logged, also for every 'Powder' blend change, or any alteration to the top tooling (tightening or loosening of the crimp). Even the packaging has to undergo a test. But to sell within the 'mainland' then he can probably get away with just a production run proof. I think that you will find some steel shot cartridges (by other manufactures) have been out of CIP to make the extra speed that some shooters want.
