Jaymo
If u don't like wiring or have a car with an intelligent 'Can-Bus' type system then get urself a plug n play loom
clakk
plug n play loom for me volvo was 50 quid but my astra just matches up with the diagram as comes with the kit.just splice to the loom using the scotch locks .one side or other inside your rear light cluster will have both indicator and brake wires together if u need acharging relay for a caravan thats another socket kit or be lazy n plug it into your cigarette lighter socket if u dont smoke atb clakk
keg
Can I suggest solder and heat shrink rather than scotch locks. As the SLs corrode they can create all sorts of issues.
neil82
astra that age probably has bulb failure warning system, budget for bypass relay kit, easy enough to fit and a second vote for soldered joints, scotchlocks are a pain even when fitted inside the car let alone hung on the back of the lamp wiring loom
sishyplops
Towbar man off eBay is towequippe company who are superb, go for the expensive plug and play loom which when I got mine was a Conway from towbarman
NIGHT SEARCHER
Can I suggest solder and heat shrink rather than scotch locks. As the SLs corrode they can create all sorts of issues. Plus + 1 on that. Scotch locks are ****. And cause more electrical faults.
