paul2012
I'm looking at upgrading my bushnell banner for this scope. Its the MTC Mamba 1.5-6x42 RIR. I cant really seem to find any reviews on it so i thought i might ask on here. What really attracts me to it is the low power of it i.e the 1.5 as almost all of my shooting is done under the lamp and the bushnell is **** for it and whites out all the time even on the lowest power (3x). So do you guys think much of the brand and the scope if you may have tried it? Thanks, Paul

paul2012
Its going on a ruger 10/
al4x
Look through more scopes your whiteout issue is mostly your current scope most won't do it at those ranges
paul2012
Its not like I'm trying to use it at heavy ranges though anything over 20yards and its whited out. Do you think this one would be ok or should i look at some others? If so what would you suggest budget is £250 with mounts
al4x
A 2nd hand Swarovski 6x42 should be in reach at that money with the plus point that should you want to sell it in future you should get pretty much all your money back
welshwarrior
Second hand S&B 6x42 can be had for £250 10/22 will take any sort of mount as well.
tharsus
Had a Mamba 4-16, worst scope I have ever owned, terrible white out on higher mag, heavy as a brick and the side px bore no resemblance to actual distance. As said buy something of quality for that money, burris Fullfield is a cracking scope too I found for not a lot of cash second hand.
thegingeritalian
I too can vouch for the Burris scopes. Have a s/h fullfield E1 on my triple and its main use is under the lamp. Got off fleabay for 80 notes and no complaints from me. Be careful looking at the likes of second hand Bushnell scopes there are quite a few fakes doing the rounds
