chady
Hi How's the best way to go from a tiled floor to a vinyl floor at the door threshold?? I've tried to find a trim that allows me to tile up to and have a slot the other side to allow me to push vinyl floor into to finish it! But can only find it in white plastic! And would like it in silver as the other to doors and doormat well is done in silver so would like to match. Any idears?? The only other way is to just get a silver rounded tile edge ind cut the vinyl flush to this? But I can see a gap appearing due to movement. Thanks Jamie. team tractor
Wheel paint??? How about a wall tile trim?
chady
Yea they do plenty of carpet to tile trims but not tile to vinyl I.e 8-10mm down to 3-4 mm. I could get sone normal tile trim and but the vinyl up to the trim but I can see movement in the vinyl and cause a gap. Or I could put the trim on top of the vinyl but I won't be able to change the vinyl.
millrace
Z bar,,it covers different floor heights, stand on it to flatten,,
chady
Yea that sounds an option... I can't believe there isn't a specific trim for it! I've found a white plastic one but not a mettle silver one.. Like team tractor said some tough paint might be the option but it still won't be the same and can see it chipping. So looks like its that z plate trim is the best option! Up to now.

castletyne
This is the kind of thing normally they come in 2 different drop sizes http://www.carpetstyledirect.co.uk/accessories-c21/door-bars-c27/09m-3ft-silver-stick-down-ramp-bar-p453 Most small carpet shops or laminate sellers should have them
