Abu Garcia 6500 C3 question

I think it would make sense for stationary bait fishing - but for casting with lures it's just a pain as I would be casting then swapping hands over. It's a nice reel though and for what I paid for it I can't grumble.

I can use either but am right handed. Try controlling the drag while playing a big fish with left hand wind version its at least twice as hard. I shouldn't fret about swapping hands over lure fishing it encourages a bit a dead sticking which is always good, use it get used to it and you should love it. I think it comes from non-level wind equipped models though, don't think I could manage with a left hand wind on a beach rod laying the line out evenly on the spool during retrieve.

A pal of mine said the same thing this afternoon , I might persevere with it for a bit then, just to see.

 

I picked it up for £20! Boxed in as new condition too
