**** that

Strangely you seem less than positive with my plan for 100% tax on second homes, in my capacity as a self employed vagrant I traveled around Britain witnessing the rich buy up small villages rendering them devoid of life in the winter and overwhelmed by braying fools all summer simultaneously putting the price of a small shed out of the reach of most of the original inhabitants, at least with my suggestion the massively wealthy could have the chance to make amends to the local community

yeah less than positive is about right :lol: id buy abroad if we were taxed 100% here as would most people either that or they would simply not buy and mess up the housing market so with respect i think it would never work, cant see many people being keen on a law to tax them 100%

still they are just imaginary laws we are talking about and if thats what you would want thats what you would want, im sure the bosses on here arnt keen on my suggestion to raise the minimum wage to a livable amount maybe then people could buy a house in the places you mentioned.

Well said, chrisjh!

I reckon we should also ban the following:-

the racists;

the xenophobes;

the homophobes;

the religious fanatics;

the chauvinists;

the sadly benighted who believe that capital and corporal punishment will somehow restore a law-abiding society that never actually existed;

the even more sadly benighted who believe that UKIP will also restore a law-abiding, mono-cultural society that never actually existed;

all those people who conveniently forget that their own ancestors were, at some point, immigrants;

and, particularly, those who keep putting up posts riddled with grammatical and spelling errors asserting that "their" country has gone down the pan because of immigration.

Doing the foregoing would, of course, reduce the "pigeon watch massive" very significantly as most of the persistent moaners and bigots who frequent this forum fall conveniently into at least one of the categories.

Happy New Year, and hell mend you, you miserable bunch!

You missed one...over opinionated egotist with a hyper inflated sense of his own importance... :innocent:

It was meant as a light hearted reply . I'm not sure that everyone is queuing up to buy a second home, most would be struggling to buy a first even if we did raise the minimum wage, I'm sure the last remaining working couple in the village would be only to pleased to clean and maintain everyone's second home for the pay increase in Britain or abroad.

I would ban those that moan about grammar and spelling

I probably fall into most of those categories

Ban career politicians - only allow people who have worked in the real world for at least 10 years to become an MP. Doesnt matter what job they do except for researcher/lobbyist etc for other politicians. Then we wouldnt have the three identikit leaders of the two main parties & the LibDems.

I have three houses do i have to give everything up to the scumbags.

No you shouldn't. we should make it against the law to give the enemy ideas to tax us more - people should be more interested in how much tax owners of 3 dozen houses pay.
