BSA Airsporter Barrel

Looking through the collection the other day and dug out my old Airsporter from 1983 that I had back then.

The thing is as a young teenager I thought lopping the barrel down to around half it's length would be 'cool'.

Would now like to return it to its original configuration so is it possible to replace the barrel and if so, expensive?

Thanks

Jay

Never heard of this being done-I'm guessing that the barrel is brazed in place and I doubt that it would be cost effective to try and remove it-I have never seen replacement barrels for them either. With a relatively low value might I suggest that you buy another one-they are cheap enough on Guntrader.

Thanks Bruno.

Kind of what I thought, would never get rid of it to purchase another though as too sentimental for that.

Wonder if a 'smith' could true up the remnants and also drill and tap for a replacement foresight?

Anywhere useful for spares?

Cheers
