Stealth Stalker
I had a couple of hours to kill (no pun intended) this morning before I had to go to work so I went over to a sportsground that I have only ever shot on. I was set up by 8am round a compost area that Pin & me have never really had any joy shooting over, I set 17 nets along a small bank of about 50 yds & entered the ferts 5mins & the first bolt, that slipped the net so I sent the dog , she chased it around & it eventually back netted it self. That was quickly chinned then 2 bolt both at the same time I was running around like a blue **** fly, both were chinned while I re-netted, then the dog disappeared over a concealed bit of bank & had another bunny tangled up in a net There was one more bolt, accounting for 5 good bunnys. I then moved over to another area that was a bit more difficult, with a water filled ditch & a maze of brambles I was able to net about 7 holes & positioned me & the dog in the brambles by the ditch, both ferts were entered & it didn't take long for the action to begin. First bolt came out an un netted hole & straight back down then we had 1 in the net sports ground side, while I was dealing with that another took the oppertunity to leg it with the dog trying to catch up to no avail The next bunny showed at the entrance of the hole saw me & the dog, about turned straight in to the jaws of one of my jills, I grabbed it by the **** & after removing the fert from its face gave it the "coup de grace" I finished up with 7 good bunnys in just under 2.5 hours Very happy & I got to my job on time The first 5 from the compost area. I didn't have time to take pics of the other 2 Cheers Stealth Stalker
