unico1
Hi all. Interested in getting a barrel camera to film some footage whilst on the pigeons and clays but unsure where to look. I think the go pro ones are the best but a bit pricey. It will need to fit a 20 and 12. Semi auto barrel. Thanks and happy new year.
camojohn
I tried one of those key ring fob cameras on my shotgun barrel, just to see how the pic’s would turn out. After about 5 or 6 shots the camera packed up. These cheap febay cameras are not up to the speed and recoil of shotgun shooting. When I looked at the photos all I had was pictures of a blurred sky. I had the camera mounted on the wrong side of the barrel to capture the shot and the bird. Had the bird been traveling in the other direction it would have been ok. So make sure you mount your camera in the right place.
stubby
I have both the go pro, and one called MUVI, both work excellently on the guns, just remember, you only get what you pay for,
aris
One that can do high speed filming is useful - 60fps or even 120fps.
steve_b_wales
Action Cam #3 720p HD is a good one for the money. It retails around £50 and recoil from a shotgun does not affect it. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Chilli-Technology-Action-720P-Head/dp/B005PK5J74
