Rim Fire
The weather man said it will be frosty in the morning the rain has been non stop for weeks so i set the alarm for 6/30 am was on my way by 0/800 On my to the ground i passed a field at first i said to myself two cock pheasant but when i got closer i could it was two Foxes i said thats got to be a good OMEN. i got to my high seat and waited about 9/30 am i started calling i seen the first Fox i shot her it was a Vixen After that i called about another 1 hr but nothing so climbed down out of my high seat and went 100 yards to my right i started calling again this time the Fox came in so fast i didn't see it then i notice something looking at me through the branches i thought ****** it well something along them lines as moved to shoot he ran off in a different direction than he came so i knew he would have to pass a small clearing in the Forest i waited and sure enough it showed i barked at it and he stopped for a look big mistake i took him off my sticks . I get a lot more satisfaction shooting foxes in daylight Edited January 5, 2014 by Rim Fire
