Morning people,

I'm looking to buy a Beretta semi auto and have my eye on a 302m/c but just wondered what the differences are between the 301,302 and 303 ?

I imagine they are little machining differences that don't necessarily make a whole lot of difference to a fun clay shooter like myself.

Please let me know you thoughts.

The 303 will be the best of the bunch, the 301,was a fixed choke model, the 302 has the choke held in with a collar, which i always thought looked odd,the 303s are multi choked, and use the mobil choke system,i have had a 301 and two 303s and found the comb height a tad higher on the 303,they will all perform well, and do the job,but for choice i would go for the 303.

3 inch chambers on 303 in think?

Nope, you would need to buy a magnum barrel,

Personally I would avoid the 301, very fiddley to unload or swap cartridges around

302 choke system is a marmite thing, you either love it or hate it, but you could put a 303 barrel on.

303 is the better gun out of the box but I like the 302

Had

1 - 301 (12g)

2 - 302 (12g), 1 - (20g)

2 - 303 (12g)

1 - 390 (12g)

1 - 391 (12g)

and a Fabarm euro lion

Whilst I like the 302 I wish I had never sold my first 303, couldn't miss with it, then part ex'd it for the 390 which I couldn't hit a barn door with
