oscarsdad
I will do a full write up when I'm bored tomorrow at work, but had an awesome day and a huge thanks to Colin for the opportunity which I always remember for my first deer. Love it way more meaty far less gamey imo. Could live on it. Now that's interesting, but in my mind for taste/flavour/texture it is a very close run thing between Muntjac and Roe for me, the Muntjac round these parts taste excellent. As regards CWD I can't comment, never even seen one in the wild let alone shot/eaten one!

As regards CWD I can't comment, never even seen one in the wild let alone shot/eaten one! Never had roe buddy so cant say. CWD is fantastic though. Blooming love it. Beauty if living in Bedfordshire I guess.
wildfowler.250
Did one paid stalk for CWD couple of years ago. If they were on my ground then I'd be happy to shoot them but wouldnt rush back for it. They don't seem to be as wary compared to other deer. Still really enjoyed the outing though but prefer roe stalking.
