dr. lecter
where is best to buy cartridges in lincs grantham area , is there any saving home loading .?
super sharp shooter
If your trying to produce cartridges at the same price of the budget brands at home forget it. The saving you can make with home loads will be with the more premium loads. With home made shot I can make 1000 cartridges for £170, but if you buy ready made shot you won't get near that price. 88b
Thanks for posting that Jega, I've been thinking about reloading as I'm shooting 150 to 200 a week. That's faster than I expected to reload a cartridge.
deershooter
Cut offs were cartridges that went wrong in production the manufacturers used to cut them in half reuse the lead then if you were in the know you could get them for next to nothing .You then pull out the half of the wad pour out the powder press out the primer and reuse Sadly these are no longer available but my stock should last a while Deershooter
