Actionpigeons
Took a cpl of my dogs out for a walk today, as I walked i bumped a pheasant up. I could see the dogs willing me to shoot it as it went away. They both watched it until it was out of sight. demonwolf444
Wanted a goose all season, i don't eat many of them but usually they are like a plague and easy shooting. Never saw one all season till the last week they arrived in numbers, whenever i was without a gun they were 20 yards away, and whenever i was with a gun, they were in the next field. This went on every evening till the last day of the season. So i missed out on my goose this year. In true style some came in just 30 yards off our pigeon decoys the other day! Paul taylor
Ha ha my dog has gotten a little too keen. Yesterday on four occasions while decoying sat behind a stone wall im thinking come on crows get lower come into range you know you want to join the decoys only to look down and see a springer running around the decoys! Talk about running in hes not even waiting for the shot, hes not daft though only did it wi pigeon and crow. Think more training is needed mind you with how I'm shooting he has more chance grabbing one out the air lol.
kent
Heck dogs just don't get the closed season. As far as they are concerned its still shooting weather, still dark in the mornings and dark early evenings
