Blackpowder
Long since read all of Wilber Smiths books at least twice, elephant hunting , diamond mining gold prospecting etc all stirring stuff. A good detective writer on the ongoings of the Brighton populace Peter James, well worth a read. Nitty gritty detective stuff around Aberdeen Struart McBride, I could almost feel the damp creeping into me in some of his books. Currently discovered C.J.Box and his game warden hero Joe Pickett, plenty assorted firearms and odd ball charaters, a bit like Pigeon Watch in fact.
