hoggysreels
Had a few hours out today ... had some Proper cartridges 32g 5's & 30g Gamebore 6's The Proper cartridges are very punchy, to the extent after firing 3 cartridges l decided enough was enough and just used the Gamebore ... without doubt hard hitting, just very punchy and loud (or so they seem to me) Ive shot a lot over the last week due to having outstanding annual leave ... few gamebore left, got a good few Proper cartridges left though .. think.its time to pick up.some gamebore steels Edited March 6, 2014 by hoggysreels
evo
I,ve used the gamebore no5 steels 32 g, a total waste of time and money IMO , they where no better than the gamebore clear pigeon no6 at stopping pigeons and crows, infact I would say they didn,t have as much stopping power especially against the armour plated crows, stick with a decent no,6 cart and you wont go wrong, I even did well on the pheasants with clear pigeon 6,s atb Evo
matone
Was once given a box of 32g Propers, found them too savage even in my Browning sporter, not a nice shell ! Didn`t even finish the box.
hoggysreels
Punchy cartridges ... and noticed it stated on the box ... 67mm ... to be usrd in chambers of 2.75" or greater. Now that contary to my belief .. 65/67mm cartridges can be safetly used with a 2.5" chambered gun ... anyhow l will be using Gamebore/Eley or other reputable cartridges in future ... not knocking Proper cartridges, its just they are not ideal for me ... figgy
Think the advice of use in a 23/4" chambered gun is to do with the proof pressure, rather than the cartridge length. Figgy

IEH
without doubt hard hitting, just very punchy and loud I find the RC Sipe Prestige like that through my game gun. They are a good, hard-hitting shell and I'm very happy with them through my old A303 auto or my Supernova, but in the game gun they're just plain unpleasant.
