Dekers
Ok, I broke my X-Trail so I've just picked up a Freelander2. I'm after some mudflaps, definitely front, and probably rear as well. Does anyone have or fitted these, any recommendations or ones to stay away from, and important..do you have to drill wheel arch, or anything? Cheers

Dekers
Except my bent front wing leaves a hole at the bottom that fills up with mud along the sill/trim, mudflaps would hide/cover this!
B725
Have a look on Freel2.com forum the original ones are better than the after market.

Dekers
Some one has posted the exact same question on Freel2.com today Yes, cheers for the info, my main issue was drilling of the wheel-arch. My last motor had plastic wings so holes didn't rust, I don't even know what the Freelander wings are made of but I guess steel, and not aluminium or plastic! steve_b_wales
Some one has posted the exact same question on Freel2.com today I posted the question about buying genuine or generic mudflaps, and I'm in the process of finding the cheapest supplier. I'll probably go with the genuine ones though.

There is a full set for sale on Freel2 at the moment £80 brand new Edited March 12, 2014 by B725
Dekers
Thanks to all. I got a FULL set of OEM and fitted them yesterday, at least it was a decent day, just as well as I spent a lot of it on my back grovelling under the motor. What a load of malarkey, the back were not too bad, but thoroughly inefficient, and the front were just silly. Frankly I think they should be fitted as standard on ALL Land Rovers, but if not, provision should be made in the design of the motors for easy aftermarket fitting. The fitting setup of Meccano, craft knives, pencils and drills is far to reminiscent of Blue Peter!
