Can anyone tell me anything about them (other than what is written on them below) also are they a collectors item? Any value or should I use them. Eley used to load cartridges for gun shops and anyone else for that matter and the gun shops name would be printed on the case. I would guess that this is what happened in this instance. Charlie. Lord Geordie Posted January 29, 2007 Report Share Posted January 29, 2007 To foreign collectors they MAY be worth something but i DO know you get some sad people who buy them simply to fire them for the SMELL I bought a box of Eley alphamax circa 1960s waxed paper carts in the origional box at an auction a year back i think i paid £5 for them.
